Thanks for visiting Longhorn Eye Care. We offer comprehensive ophthalmology services to Plugerville and the northeast Austin area. We are about a 25 minute drive from downtown Austin, and a short trip from the surrounding areas of Round Rock, Hutto, Taylor, Elgin, and Manor. Our facility is brand new and offers state of the art equipment in a comfortable, modern setting.
The Eye Doctor
Dr. Hart specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of many common eye and vision disorders including glaucoma, cataract, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye, and more. He performs the vast majority of his surgeries at Oakwood Surgery Center and Seton Williamson Medical Center, both located close by in Round Rock.

Referring providers: we ask that you please send us a copy of a referral note or most recent patient chart in order that we are able to directly address the reason for referral. Please also provide us with the patient’s contact information so that we may reach out and coordinate a visit in a medically appropriate time frame. We look forward to working with you!
